Only the finest parts are selected for our artisanal processing: the tuna is cooked according to the ancient traditions of the Buggerru tuna fishery in large pots, then it is canned in tin containers, covered with olive oil, and left to mature for at least 6 months. Our production includes four selections: Ventresca, Tarantello, Running Tuna, and Buzzonaglia.

Serving suggestions

Bluefin tuna, Tarantello and Ventresca:

Either alone or combined with a mix of vegetables.

Buzzonaglia:

Being composed of parts of the bluefin tuna heavily irrigated with blood and having a strong and intense flavor, it is recommended to consume it with a special recipe for dressing pasta.

Ingredients: buzzonaglia, olive oil as needed, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, salted capers, anchovy fillets in oil, peeled tomatoes.

Sauté the garlic in oil and add finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes and rinsed salted capers. Then, add the buzzonaglia (minced) with its oil, cook for a few minutes, and then add the peeled tomatoes. Cook and refine as needed.

Storage

After opening, store in the refrigerator at a temperature of 0°C to 4°C.
